But, they are not all created equal – many have either too little or too much protein, and often they lack other aspects of a well-balanced diet such as fibre, vitamins, and minerals.
So what makes one protein shake better than another in terms of nutrient content?
In this article, I will review the Evolve brand of protein Shake to find out if it is an option worth looking into for people looking to improve themselves by combining nutrition with exercise.

What Is Evolve Protein Shake?
Evolve Protein Shakes are a plant-based protein source that provides 20g of protein for sustained energy to help support your active lifestyle.
They include the highest quality ingredients, including North American grown pea protein, and don't contain gluten, dairy, soy, or lactose.
Evolve Protein Shakes are an excellent source of both soluble and insoluble dietary fibre, which aids in the reduction of cholesterol and supports a healthy digestive system.
In addition, they contain a 2:1 ratio of Omega-3 to Omega-6 fatty acids, an essential part of helping maintain overall good health.
The Evolve company is well-known for ready-to-drink shakes because its parent company, Cytosport, is the leading manufacturer of MuscleMilk.
Its parent company was founded in 1983 by Dr Robert Hull and has continued to grow due to its consistent dedication to innovative solutions.

Evolve Protein Shakes come in 6 delicious flavours: chocolate, vanilla chai, chocolate raspberry truffle, strawberry banana, French vanilla, and Mocha.
It isn’t sickly sweet like the shakes with sucralose. However, the first gulp still had a metallic, fake sweetener aftertaste (erythritol and stevia).
The chocolate is very smooth and light. It has a clean taste to me if that makes sense.
It almost has some “green/grassy” flavour alongside it. I’m sure that might turn people off from trying this drink, but I find it quite pleasant.
EVOLVE Plant-Based Protein Shake 18-pack costs $27.49. The four pack of Evolve protein shake costs $7.99.
