The Frame and Construction

The frame is very sturdy and is made of steel which has anti-corrosive paint that prevents rust.

Is Bowflex home gym any good?
The seat slides smoothly along the rail. It allows you to move around while doing your exercises. The machine does not wobble or shake when I use it.

The seat and bench are comfortable, even for tall people. I’m 6 feet tall and have no discomfort when doing my leg exercises on this machine.

You will find that this machine can accommodate your height fully. It feels like the seat is made for people above 6 feet.

The unit’s bases contain a rubber stabilizer foot on each tip at the front and rear. It makes the machine stable during workouts and also prevents unnecessary dents or scratches on the floor.

If you're concerned the floor is uneven, you might want to invest in a rubber mat. Rubber mats will improve the stability of the unit.

The rear part of the exercise machine has transport wheels designed to help in relocating the unit.

The Resistance System

The Bowflex Blaze Home Gym has a power rod-based resistance system that is upgradeable.

The resistance has a maximum weight that they could lift, which is 210 pounds. This weight can be increased from 5 pounds to 210 pounds.

It is a resistance training system that provides suitable workout challenges and minimal stress on joints and muscles. In addition, the rods of power are unusually durable and may last years.

A quality guarantee ensures that these products are durable and of high quality.

Five power rods weigh 105 pounds on each side of the home gym. It equals a maximum weight resistance of 210 pounds. You can purchase the power rod separately.

It will allow you to upgrade the weight to 310 or 410 pounds.

To use any resistance rods, you must attach a cable and handle on one end and a weight on the other. Both sides must have actual weight to ensure an even pull.

You may wonder if these power rods break or lose their resistance level at some point. I have no complaints about the power rods breaking, but they lose elasticity or resistance over time. But that also depends on the intensity and frequency of the barrier rod usage.

The Seat and Bench

The seat is adjustable in terms of both height and angle. The angle is adjusted by moving the back of the chair up or down. It makes a difference when you’re doing leg presses.

On the other hand, you can adjust the height by raising and lowering the bench on the back of the machine. So you can set it up to fit any height user, which is great since some people are tall and others are concise.

The seat rail slides smoothly along the metal frame, allowing me to switch between exercises without any problems. There is no grinding or shaking present during my workouts. The seat is also very comfortable. I have no issues doing my activities on it.

The bench at the back of the machine is long enough to accommodate tall people over 6 feet tall. The seat rail slides smoothly along the metal frame, allowing me to switch between exercises without any problems.

There is no grinding or shaking present during my workouts. The seat is also very comfortable. I have no issues doing my activities on it.

The seat's rollers are made of heavy-duty and quality ball bearings that could prolong the lifespan.

The seat and the bench are well padded and cushioned with 2″ of foam and covered with durable and quality synthetic leather.

As a result, it provides much-needed comfort during workouts. In addition, they're accommodating during long-term activities where fatigue sets in.

Customer Reviews

When looking for customer reviews, I always find the most helpful, reliable, and unbiased ones. But, of course, they must be written by people who have purchased or used them themselves.

After researching customer feedback on Amazon.com, I was able to see that people are happy with this home gym. So far, only one customer has only posted negative feedback regarding the shipping issues of their product.

So it is safe to say that this home gym is worth the money you pay for it.
